A beautiful stripped back acoustic version of a Christmas classic! I was asked to record a Christmas song of choice for a Christmas album showcasing local artists commissioned by Belfast Music (Belfast City Council). I have always loved this song, sung originally by Judy Garland, for its nostalgic yet hopeful lyrics and chose it as I think it sums up perfectly what a lot of us are feeling this Christmas in 2020 with Covid restrictions in place. The studio was warm and there were fairy lights twinkling when Matt the pianist and myself performed it live for the recording. The song brought its own magic into the studio that day!
